Battery hold (SOC) – why these settings
The H6 GT battery hold moves in 10% steps. Out: leave home full, hold 50% so you reach the Pretty Sally climb with half a pack; drop the hold to 30% after Broadford/Tallarook for the flat run. Back: hold 60% from Yarrawonga so you arrive at the Tallarook–Wallan climb with plenty in reserve; on the M80 turn the hold off and use the battery to get home. Regen: High on long descents and in town, Low on climbs, Medium on the plains.
